Oasis
LOG LINE: When Rain Walker discovers the body of a woman in the small town of Oasis, her quest for justice uncovers decades of secrets hidden by three powerful brothers. Battling her own trauma and suspicion of men, she must dismantle the patriarchal structure threatening to consume her—and those she vows to protect.
SYNOPSIS: Rain Walker arrives in the remote lumber town of Oasis, bruised and guarded, desperate to disappear. The town promises quiet and isolation—exactly what she needs to escape her past. She finds work through the local diner run by the cautious but kind Elden, and moves into a cabin in the woods with Ayanna and her severely disabled daughter, Mika.
But Oasis isn’t the refuge it seems.
When Rain stumbles on the body of a young woman buried in the forest, no one—not even Ayanna—seems surprised. Instead of outrage, there’s fear. Ayanna begs her to drop it, terrified of Mel Rousseau, one of three powerful brothers who control the town like a family-run regime. But Rain can’t let it go. Her gut tells her Mel’s involved, and the more she digs, the uglier the truth becomes. Elden reluctantly helps, and Caleb—a grief-stricken outcast whose daughter vanished years ago—joins in, driven by revenge.
Rain uncovers a twisted web of secrets linking the murdered girl to Mel and the Rousseau family’s history of violence and control. Her bond with Mika deepens, forcing her to weigh the cost of speaking out. Ayanna, trapped between survival and complicity, begins to unravel, caught in her own dark connection to Mel and the town’s rot.
As the Rousseaus close in, Rain must choose: flee while she still can, or return to protect Mika and Ayanna and expose the truth. She goes back. As the family implodes and Ayanna’s final secret is revealed, Rain is left alone to face the Rousseaus in a deadly showdown that will determine not just her fate—but whether justice will ever reach Oasis.

Every great film begins with a story that won’t let you go.
Oasis is that kind of story. It’s raw, unflinching, and unapologetically timely—because it has to be. We’re living in a moment that demands more than entertainment. It demands truth. And change.
This script isn’t afraid to confront what’s broken. It’s built around fierce characters, real stakes, and the kind of emotional punch that sticks with you long after the credits roll. We believe people will respond to it because it speaks to something important—something we’re all feeling but struggling to have the courage to confront.
We don’t need another safe story. We need one that says something.
That’s why Oasis needs to get made.
If this resonates with you—even a little—reach out. Let’s talk. Let’s do something important.
Let’s make a film that matters.
